Vacancy Description
Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust are seeking to appoint a new Non-Executive Director with digital expertise to join its Board of Directors.
Do you have the experience and expertise to provide scrutiny, oversight and support through the Board as the organisation embarks on implementing a significant programme of digital improvement?
As one of the largest NHS trusts in the country, we are looking to appoint an individual with relevant Board-level experience, preferably gained as a member of a Board in a large or complex organisation.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to make a positive difference at an exciting time for the Trust.

Person Specification
Essential criteria for the role includes:
- Experience of leading organisational and digital transformational change in large / complex public or private sector organisation that has delivered outstanding performance and turnaround.
- An understanding of specific challenges and future opportunities of making the best use of data and data technology, in public services.
- Recent, relevant experience in contributing to the overall vision and strategic direction of an of an organisation Recent, relevant experience in providing leadership as part of a unitary Board.
- Highly developed team working, communication and chairing skills that facilitate the engagement and contribution of others.
- The ability to analyse complex information to report and contribute effectively to the Board of Directors. Recent, relevant experience of providing sound, independent advice and assurance.
