Vacancy Description
At Northamptonshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (NHFT), we strive to continually innovate and make a positive difference to our community and those working for and with our Trust, with a collective vision to provide outstanding, compassionate care to the people of Northamptonshire and surrounding areas. Rated as Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission, NHFT is one of the few Foundation Trusts in the country which offers an integrated provision across all ages including mental health, learning disability, community health and prison health services.
With two vacancies on our Board, we are eager to secure individuals who are appreciative of the complexities of working in a multi-site operation, can think beyond organisational boundaries, and bring high levels of personal and business integrity to ensure exemplary standards of quality, probity, and governance.
Person Specification
- For the Non-Executive Director post, we are looking for someone with current or recent NHS experience, which could be either as an Executive or Non-Executive Director, who has a broad portfolio of skills and demonstrable experience of system working.
- For the Associate Non-Executive Director post, we are looking for someone with broad business skills (from any sector) developed in a complex environment including experience of collaborative and partnership working.
NHFT celebrates multiple points of view, and we believe diversity drives innovation. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a track record in driving Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion related issues, together with the ability to demonstrate how you have challenged discrimination and inequality. You must also evidence your ability to influence and persuade others, be committed to working as a team member and possess the motivation to improve NHS performance.
