An announcement has been made on the outcome of this appointment.
Following Kieran Murphy’s decision to stand down as Chair of Ordnance Survey, the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy has appointed Stephen Lake as Interim Chair of Ordnance Survey from 2nd March 2021 while a competition is run to find a substantive chair. Stephen is an experienced and commercially-focused Chair with particular expertise in digital and information services. He joined the OS board in December 2014 and is currently the Senior Independent Director
