Vacancy Description

M2105

We are looking for an exceptional leader to chair this outstanding Trust. This is an unique opportunity to help shape the future of local services by sharing your talents and expertise to make a positive difference to your community of this outstanding Trust.

Cambridgeshire Community Services NHS Trust which delivers a wide range of services for children and adults across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Luton, Peterborough, Norfolk and Suffolk has recently been awarded the highest rating of outstanding by the Care Quality Commission.

The Trust are one of only 42 trusts across the country rated Outstanding by the Care Quality Commission, reflecting the passion and commitment demonstrated by their 2500 staff.

Their ethos is ‘people before process’, recognising – as research shows – that an engaged and happy workforce will deliver great patient outcomes. The Trust is delighted therefore that, for the sixth year running, their latest results from the national staff survey were incredibly positive and their staff engagement score was 3rd highest nationally for all NHS providers.

The Trust’s commitment to deliver outstanding care is reflected in feedback from service users, with 96% of over 34,000 people during 2018/19 saying they would recommend their services to friends and family. Some of the most memorable and powerful feedback from service users has been at their public Board meetings where they hear first-hand how their services are changing people’s lives, as well as how they can further improve services.
