- This is a non-salaried public appointment but the Department will pay reasonable expenses for attending meetings, including working parties, and other Committee business.
- Time Requirements
- Three main meetings a year plus preparatory and follow up work with the secretarial office and input into BRAC working groups (approximately 10 days per annum in total).

Lord Greenhalgh, the Minister for Building Safety and Fire, appointed Martin McConaghy as a Member of the Building Regulations Advisory Committee for 1 year and 6 months, commencing on 1 June 2022 and ending on 31 December 2023. This appointment was made without a competition in order to provide the Committee with disability access expertise until BRAC’s functions are subsumed into the Building Advisory Committee (BAC).
