An announcement has been made on the outcome of this appointment.
Following consultation with the Commissioner for Public Appointments, Lord True has announced that Sian Jones, the current Deputy Chair of the UK Statistics Authority will act as the interim Chair of the UK Statistics Authority until the Government has completed its recruitment process to replace Sir David Norgrove, who steps down 31 March 2022, following five years of service.
