Office for Students: non-executive board member reappointments The Secretary of State for Education has reappointed Martin Coleman, Kate Lander and Katja Hall to the board of the Office for Students (OfS) as non-executive directors.
Martin Coleman and Kate Lander have been reappointed for 3 years from 1 July 2022. Katja Hall has been reappointed for 3 years from 1 January 2023.
Office for Students: non-executive board member appointments The Secretary of State for Education has appointed Dr Dayo Olukoshi, Dr Michael Spence and Mrs Rachel Houchen, to the board of the Office for Students (OfS) as non-executive directors.
Dayo Olukoshi and Rachel Houchen have been appointed from 16 March 2022 to 31 March 2025. Michael Spence has been appointed from 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2025.
Remuneration for all non-executive board members is £9,180 per annum for an estimated time commitment of 20 days per year.
These appointments and reappointments have been made under Schedule 1, paragraph 2(1)(d) of the Higher Education and Research Act 2017, which permits the appointment of up to 12 ordinary or non-executive OfS board members.
The register of interests of board members is published on the Office for Students website. None of the appointees has declared any political activity.
The OfS is a non-departmental public body. It is the independent regulator of higher education in England. It regulates in the interests of students and prospective students from all backgrounds.
