Dame Christine Ryan, Frances Wadsworth and Hywel Jones have been reappointed as board members for Ofqual from 1 April 2020. Dame Christine Ryan has been reappointed for 3 years. Frances Wadsworth and Hywel Jones have been reappointed for 2 years.
Remuneration for each board member is £6,000 per annum for an estimated time commitment of 20 days.
Dame Christine Ryan, Frances Wadsworth and Hywel Jones have not declared any conflicts of interests or political activity. Frances Wadsworth is a Deputy Further Education Commissioner.
Ofqual is a non-ministerial government department that regulates qualifications, examinations and assessments in England. Appointments and reappointments to the Ofqual Board are made by the Secretary of State for Education.
