An announcement has been made on the outcome of this appointment.
Silla Maizey’s appointment as Chair of the NHS Business Services Authority has been extended for 12 months with effect from 9 September 2020 until 8 September 2021. The appointment will continue to involve a time commitment of 2 to 3 days per week. Remuneration for the role will continue to be at a rate of £63,000 per annum.
Tim Nolan and Andrew Flanagan’s appointments have been extended as Non-Executive Directors of NHS Business Services Authority for 6 months with effect from 1 April 2020.
Karen Seth has been reappointed as a Non-Executive Director of the NHS Business Services Authority from 15 September 2020 until 14 September 2023.
The appointments will continue to involve a time commitment of 2 to 3 days per month. Remuneration for the roles will continue to be at a rate of £7,883 per annum, with Andrew Flanagan as Audit Chair remunerated at £13,137 per annum.
These appointments are made in accordance with the Cabinet Office Code of Governance for Public Appointments. The regulation of public appointments against the requirements of this Code is carried out by the Commissioner for Public Appointments.
The appointments are made on merit and political activity played no part in the decision process. However, in accordance with the Code, there is a requirement for appointees’ political activity (if any declared) to be made public. None of these appointees’ have declared any political activity.
These are a reappointment and extensions
