Remuneration
The remuneration for the appointment is £20,000 per annum. The initial appointment is on the basis of a four year Royal Warrant.

The Crown Estate is a £14bn UK real estate business with a portfolio unlike any other. It includes some of central London’s best places to work, shop and visit as well as brilliant destinations across the country (including retail assets and Windsor Great Park). The Crown Estate has a substantial rural and coastal portfolio and play an active role in the UK’s world-leading offshore wind sector. The Crown Estate is seeking an exceptional individual to join their Board and help shape the business to be more customer-focused, services-based and digitally enabled. The Crown Estate is moving from a “bricks and mortar” model to one that delivers services and experiences to build deep relationships with customers and community, delivering value for all their stakeholders, and seizing the opportunities that demographic, social and technology trends create.

Person Specification

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience of working at a strategic level in an organisation that has innovation, customer-focus and digital transformation at the core of its plans • Understanding and track record of enhancing the customer experience at scale • Proven track record of identifying and executing on new business opportunities • Knowledge of how to harness digital technology • Commercial and business acumen that will make a real contribution across a range of strategic and operational discussions
