Vacancy Description
The Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust (PAHT) is an ambitious acute hospital, with the vision of providing outstanding healthcare to their local population all of the time, in conjunction with their health and care partners in West Essex and East Hertfordshire.
NHS England and NHS Improvement are searching for a talented and inclusive Chair to lead the PAHT Board. You will be an energetic, compassionate, and collaborative existing or aspirant Chair with business acumen and an alignment with the values of the Trust. We are looking for someone motivated to bring their track record of success across the public or private sector to improve the Trust and make a genuine difference to the communities in Harlow and the surrounding villages.
In this appointment process we are actively seeking candidates from a range of diverse and inclusive backgrounds who offer the leadership skills required to take the Trust forward, and your values, Board level experience, and ability inspire and harness the talents of others is more important than the sector you have gained your experience in.
This is a unique opportunity to help shape the future of local services contributing to the shared responsibility for improving the health of PAHT’s population by sharing your talents and expertise to help transform the hospital deepening the collaborative working essential to make a positive difference to their local communities.
