An announcement has been made on the outcome of this appointment.
Professor Sir Michael Rawlins has been re-appointed as Chair of the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) for 3 years from 1 December 2017.
The appointment will continue to involve a time commitment of 2 to 3 days per week. Remuneration for the role will continue to be at a rate of £63,000 per annum.
Professor Sir Michael Rawlins has not declared any political activity.
